Bank we offer a variety of savings plans and we’ll
always be there to help you adapt your accounts as your
needs change over time. We offer several options
for saving money with different levels of earning potential
and flexibility.
Personal Savings
Earn interest on your money with
our regular savings account. This account provides
a simple way to save your hard earned money:
- Minimum Opening Balance: $100
- Monthly Maintenance Fee: $4 unless
a daily minimum balance of $300 or more is maintained.
- Activity Limited to two (2) withdrawals
per month. Each withdrawal over 2 will be assessed
a fee of $2 each.

Minor Savings
Start children on the right path to learn
how to manage their money with Hillsboro Bank’s Minor
Savings Account.
- Must be under 18 years of age
- Minimum Opening Balance: $25
- No Monthly Maintenance Fee
- Activity Limited to two (2) withdrawals
per month. Each withdrawal over 2 will be assessed
a fee of $2 each

Christmas Club
No matter how soon they began putting up
holiday decorations, it always seems the Holiday Season
sneaks up pretty fast. You can get a jump on the
holiday money crunch by opening a Christmas Club Account
to start saving early. It’s easy and you’ll
thank yourself for being so smart!
- Minimum Opening Balance: $10
- No Monthly Maintenance Fee
- No withdrawals allowed on the account
- A check will be mailed on November 15th
(or on the nearest business day) of each year for the
balance in the account.
- $10 early closing fee if closed prior
to November 15th

Personal Money Market
Hillsboro Bank’s Money Market Account
is the perfect account when you want to increase the earning
power of your money, yet still have easy access to it.
- Minimum Opening Balance: $2,500
- Monthly Maintenance Fee: None,
if daily minimum balance is $2,500 or more. Otherwise,
$12
- Transaction limitations apply. There
is a $5 charge per transaction over the limit, however
you have unlimited over-the-counter transactions.
- Tiered Interest Rates (The Interest
Rate for each tier is set by Hillsboro Bank)

Personal Money Market Plus
Our new Money Market Plus Account is a
great way to maintain liquidity while earning a strong
interest rate. This account is designed for those
who typically maintain balances of $100,000 or more.
- Minimum Opening Balance: $100,000
- Monthly Maintenance Fee: None,
if daily minimum balance is $2,500 or more. Otherwise,
$12.
- Transaction limitations apply. There
is a $5 charge per transaction over the limit, however
you have unlimited over-the-counter transactions.
