Hillsboro Bank offers Money Market Accounts that help make your money work as hard as you do. Earn higher interest rates on larger cash reserves, with easy access by check or telephone transfer. Funds remain totally liquid while earning higher interest based on the balance in the account. 

• Minimum Opening Balance: $2,500
• Monthly Maintenance Fee:  None, if daily minimum balance is $2,500 or more.  Otherwise, $12
• Transaction limitations apply.  There is a $5 charge per transaction over the limit, however you have unlimited over-the-counter transactions.
• Tiered Interest Rates (The Interest Rate for each tier is set by Hillsboro Bank)

Business Money Market Plus

Our new Money Market Plus Account is a great way to maintain liquidity while earning a strong interest rate.  This account is designed for those who typically maintain balances of $100,000 or more.

• Minimum Opening Balance: $100,000
• Monthly Maintenance Fee:  None, if daily minimum balance is $2,500 or more.  Otherwise, $12.
• Transaction limitations apply.  There is a $5 charge per transaction over the limit, however you have unlimited over-the-counter transactions.
• Tiered Interest Rates (The Interest Rate for each tier is set by Hillsboro Bank)
